Bonjwing Lee says he graduated with a bachelor's degree from Northwestern's Communications Department in 2000. Other professional biographies say Bonjwing Lee graduated with a bachelor's degree from Northwest Missouri State University in 2000.

The Ulterior Epicure's restaurant log includes several Los Angeles restaurants in 2000-2001, the same time period in which Bonjwing Lee was working in Hollywood.
